''Brahmaea (Acanthobrahmaea) europaea'', commonly known as the European Owl Moth, is a lepidopteran from the family Brahmaeidae in the subgenus ''Acanthobrahmaea''. ==Taxonomy== ''B. europaea'' is the sole species in the genus ''Brahmaea'' in Europe.
